Two ODCYFL teams win King of the Hill Classic

Two of the All-Star teams from Owensboro won their respective championships in the 33rd Annual King of the Hill Classic hosted by Owensboro Daviess County Youth Football League.

The tournament, held Saturday and Sunday at the four-field complex at Waymond Morris Park, featured 50 teams from Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. Champions were crowned in seven age divisions ranging from 7U to 13U.

Owensboro teams competing in the 7U and 8U divisions won championships, while the 9U team finished as runner-up.

The ODCYFL will again be in action this weekend as they host the 10th Annual Kentucky Cup Championship.
