Brescia University senior Kyle Robinson finished eighth overall in Saturday’s River State Conference men’s cross country championship, earning him a spot in the NAIA national meet.

Brescia hosted the regional meet at Yellow Creek Park, where Robinson ran a personal record of 27:00. That time was 38 seconds better than his previous best, which he ran Oct. 20 at the NAIA Great Lakes Cross Country Challenge.

Following the race, Robinson was named to the All-RSC Second Team.

The national meet will be held Nov. 16 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
