Several talented high school basketball teams from across the state will be in action in Daviess County today as a three separate tournaments are being hosted by local teams.
Two tournaments are being sponsored by Independence Bank at the Sportscenter and Trinity High School, while a third is held at Daviess County High School.
The Independence Bank Shoot Out, hosted by the Trinity girls’ team, began Friday night and continues today. The Independence Banks Classic is a one-day event hosted by the Owensboro Catholic girls’ team.
The Daviess County boys’ team hosts the KY 811 Classic Shootout, and the Lady Panthers are also participating in the only girls’ game of the tournament.
