ARCHERY
Apollo High School archers competed in the 2019 Henderson County Colonel Classic Saturday and finished in sixth place. The top female archer for Apollo was Brianna Troutman with a 281. She was also the first-place 9th-grade archer. The top male archer for Apollo was Carson Bell with a score of 266.
BOYS’ BASKETBALL
Evansville Central 73, Apollo 46
The Eagles (1-18) hung close through halftime, but they weren’t able to keep up in a loss on the road. Ryan Ash led with 11 points, and Harrison Bowman had 9.
Apollo will return home to host McLean County at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
