Ohio County 49, Owensboro 48
The Lady Devils (8-13) lost on a last-second 3-pointer by Katie Probus of the Lady Eagles (16-6), who sit near the top of the 3rd Region standings at 9-3.

Ohio County led 16-14 after the first quarter, though it was back-and-forth through the rest of the game. Tayonna Greer scored six points in the second to help Owensboro take a 27-26 lead at halftime.

The Lady Eagles led by four after the third, but the Lady Devils used six points from Victoria Whitlock in the final frame to stay close and hold a late advantage before Ohio County won at the buzzer.

Owensboro was led by Lyric Lawrence with 13 points, while  Greer added 12.

Edmonson County 64, Daviess County 58
The Lady Panthers (4-18) hit 11 3-pointers but couldn’t hold on to a late lead, falling to the Lady Cats (14-7) at home.

Claire Johnson and Shealyn Mason each hit a pair of 3s and Emma Anderson got one of her own as Daviess County took a 19-14 lead in the first quarter. Brooklyn Daugherty then scored 9 in the second period to help stretch the lead to 33-24 by halftime.

Edmonson County closed the gap to 47-44 heading into the final period. They hit two 3-pointers and 10 free throws in the fourth to complete the comeback.

Mason led the Lady Panthers with 14 points. Johnson scored 12 and Daugherty added 11.

Muhlenberg County 55, Trinity 41
Cassidy Morris had a game high 26 points, but it wasn’t enough for the Lady Raiders (7-11) in a home loss to the Lady Mustangs (14-8).

Morris scored 15 of the team’s 19 first-half points, and Trinity was only down 23-19 at the half. Muhlenberg County used a 19-6 third quarter to pull away, and the Lady Raiders weren’t able to come back.

The Lady Mustangs hit five 3-pointers and went 14-for-17 at the line, while Trinity only hit one 3 and went 14-for-26 on free throws.
