THURSDAY’S VOLLEYBALL ACTION:
• Lady Raiders earn third straight sweep
• Lady Devils roll past Lady Wildcats
• Lady Panthers swept by Lady Tigers
• E-Gals edged out in five-set battle


LADY RAIDERS EARN THIRD STRAIGHT SWEEP
Trinity swept their third game in a row for the longest win streak this season, earning a 3-0 (28-26, 25-17, 25-16) road victory over Edmonson County.

The Lady Raiders were led by Josie Aull (17 assists, 11 assists, 3 aces), Taylor Pedley (15 digs, 3 assists), Cassidy Morris (7 kills, 3 blocks, 3 aces, 2 digs), Morgan Kinsey (6 kills, 2 digs, 2 aces) and Josie Booker (11 digs).

Also contributing were Hannah Nash (9 kills), Abby Payne (6 digs), Avery Barnett (4 assists, 2 kills), Lexie Barnett (4 digs) and Jenna McDowell (4 kills).

Trinity (9-11) plays again Monday when they host Union County.


LADY DEVILS ROLL PAST LADY WILDCATS
Owensboro easily got past Franklin-Simpson in two sets, picking up a 2-0 (25-14, 25-18) win at home.

The Lady Devils were led by Krystell Pappas (10 assists, 4 digs, 4 aces, 2 kills), Armanda Pappas (6 kills, 2 digs), Mykael Winstead (3 assists, 3 kills, 3 digs), Jersie Rhineburger (4 digs, 3 aces), Brooklyn Williams (3 kills, 2 digs), Mia Covington (5 kills) and Kennedy Thompson (4 digs).

Owensboro (9-14) plays again Monday at Hancock County.


LADY PANTHERS SWEPT BY LADY TIGERS
Daviess County pushed defending region champ Breckinridge County, but the Lady Panthers fell 3-0 (27-25, 25-11, 25-23) at home.

Leading the effort for DC was Hannah Axley (15 assists, 7 digs, 2 aces), Ryann Keller (14 assists, 4 blocks), (Kloee Phelps (10 digs, 5 kills), Elizabeth Moore (10 kills, 4 digs), Kendall Goetz (11 digs) and Chea Bowers (10 digs).

Also contributing wer Kinsley Phelps (4 kills, 4 blocks), Delaney Evans (6 digs, 3 aces), Ashton Johnson (7 kills, 2 digs) and Jasmine Beasley (5 kills, 3 blocks).

The Lady Panthers (17-7) play again Tuesday against Owensboro Catholic.


E-GALS EDGED OUT IN FIVE-SET BATTLE
Apollo and Caldwell County went back and forth, but the E-Gals eventually fell 3-2 (25-14, 26-24, 17-25, 28-30, 15-9) on the road.

Apollo was led by Whitley Chambers (17 kills, 5 blocks, 4 digs), Natalie Ewing (15 kills, 6 blocks), Brylee Rhodes (12 kills, 5 blocks), Tallie Satterfield (47 assists, 3 blocks) and Hallie Wilson (23 digs, 3 aces).

The E-Gals (13-7) play again Tuesday at Owensboro.
