The Owensboro volleyball team battled Madisonville-North Hopkins for four sets before coming away with a 3-1 (25-18, 25-19, 22-25, 26-24) victory at home Monday.
Leading the way for Owensboro was Krystell Pappas (27 assists, 11 digs, 5 aces, 5 kills), Armanda Pappas (24 digs, 8 kills, 2 aces), Jersie Rhineburger (29 digs), Brooklyn Williams (12 kills, 4 digs) and Mykael Winstead (18 digs, 7 kills).
Also contributing were Lainey Hayden (8 kills, 4 blocks), Mia Covington (6 kills, 4 digs), Audretta Tyler (9 digs) and Kennedy Thompson (6 assists).
The Lady Devils play again Tuesday at Owensboro Catholic in the final 9th District game of the regular season for either team.
