LADY PANTHERS BLANK BOWLING GREEN
Chloe Hinchcliffe scored two goals as Daviess County earned a 4-0 home win in their regular season finale against Bowling Green. Kenlee Newcom and Kayla Vanover had one goal each.
Assists came from Sophie Jagoe, Meredith Campbell and Tori Beth Bayliss. Emma Patterson had seven saves in goal, while Emma Pratt had one.
The Lady Panthers (16-3) play Apollo on Monday in the 9th District tournament.
LADY ACES WIN ON ROAD
Owensboro Catholic (8-7-1) picked up a 2-1 road victory over Henderson County in the final game of the regular season. They will play again Monday in the 9th District tournament.
OHS, AHS BOTH SHUT OUT AT HOME
Owensboro lost 8-0 to Madisonville-North Hopkins, and Apollo lost 10-0 to Ohio County as both teams wrapped up the regular season at home. Both teams are back in action Monday, when the Lady Devils (3-11) play Owensboro Catholic and the E-Gals (0-13-1) play Daviess County in the 9th District tournament.
BOYS
ACES FALL IN HOME FINALE
Owensboro Catholic (8-8-1) lost 5-1 at home to University Heights in their regular season finale, with the lone goal coming from Joe Fusco. They will play again Tuesday against Daviess County in the 9th District tournament.
