The Apollo boys’ basketball team picked up their first victory of the year, running away with a 75-45 home win over Dawson Springs on Monday night.
Harrison Bowman led the scoring effort for the Eagles (1-11) with 24 points to go along with four rebounds. Malik Wilson finished with 18 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists. Landon Hamilton added seven points and seven rebounds, while Cameron Frantz chipped in eight points.
Also contributing to the scoring were Jaden Kelly (6), Dan St. Claire (4), Luke Girvin (3), Adam Fitzgerald (3) and Evan Deaton (2). St. Claire had six rebounds, and Kelly had five assists.
