AULL’S 37 HELPS LEAD TRINITY TO NARROW WIN
Josie Aull hit seven 3-pointers and went 8-for-10 at the free throw line, scoring a career-high 37 points to lead Trinity (12-15) to a 52-46 home win against Todd County Central. The Lady Raiders held a four-point advantage at the break and led 37-34 heading into the fourth, and Aull scored 13 points in the final frame to help earn the victory.
Morgan Kinsey added 13 points, while Hadley Hatfield and Maddie Logsdon scored one a piece by hitting one free throw each in the second quarter.
E-GALS FALL SHORT AT GRAVES COUNTY
Apollo (19-7) fell behind in the third quarter, and their six-game win streak came to and end with a 50-41 loss at Graves County.
The E-Gals trailed by three after the first quarter, but they tied the game at 23-all entering halftime. Graves County pulled away with a 16-3 third quarter, as the only Apollo points in the frame came on a 3-pointer by Addison Carter.
Amber Dunn led the E-Gals with another double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Also scoring were Amaya Curry (10), Carter (8), Kassidy Daugherty (4), Amari Sanders (4) and Zoe Floyd (3).
