Wet weather couldn’t deter area girls’ golf programs from hitting the links Tuesday at Ben Hawes ahead of Wednesday’s DC Lady Panther Invitational at Windridge Country Club.
Apollo’s Macey Brown and Daviess County’s Holly Holton led the way as they tied for the top spot with 41s.
Owensboro’s Catholic Abby Bahnick (44), DC’s Emilee Clark (47) and Apollo’s Mary Ann Lyons (49) all shot in the 40s for their squad.
Teams hit the course again today for the DC Lady Panthers Inviational.
