Owensboro Catholic’s Abby Bahnick broke the streak of Macey Brown wins during the local schools’ weekly Tuesday night match as the Ace carded a 36 for medalist honors at Ben Hawes.
Bahnick shot an 87 last week at the DC Lady Panther Invitational and just finished outside of the top five but Tuesday’s performance is a strong showing from the Owensboro Catholic leader.
Apollo’s Brown finished second with a 37 as she continues to shoot low this season. Mary Ann Lyons also turned in a solid round for the E-gales as she shot a 46.
Daviess County was led by Emilee Clark’s 41 while Holly Holton finished right behind her with a 42. Kirsten Henderson (46) and Hadleigh Hunter (49) also shot sub-50 rounds for the Panthers.
