A year ago, the Brescia Bearcats men’s soccer team had to wait until Sept. 28 for its first win and its first game scoring multiple goals.
On Saturday, the Bearcats were able to achieve both feats as they took down Taylor University 2-0 on the road in their season opener.
Junior forward Sam Coxon, along with freshman Javier Morejon, did the scoring for the Bearcats.
Brescia hits the field again Sept. 19 in its home opener at Kamuf Field. The Bearcats will take on conference foe Carlow University at 6:30 p.m.
