Rain shortens Bowling Green Invitational
Wet weather ended the boys’ and girls’ Bowling Green Invitationals Saturday. Daviess County’s Nick Johnson was the only local player to finish in either event.
Johnson finished in a tie for 38th as he shot a 13-over.
GIRLS’ GOLF
Lady Aces finished 8th at All ‘A’ State
The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces finished 8th at Saturday’s All “A” Classic State Tournament in Richmond.
Catholic shot a 416 as Lexington Christian Academy won the title with a 297.
The Lady Aces were led by Abby Bahnick and her 91 as she tied for 39th. R.C. Porter shot a 103 (T53), Conleigh Osborne shot a 103 (T53) and Lainey Ann Osborne shot a 119 (73) to round out the team scoring for Catholic.
