After wins during the second week of the season, Owensboro and Owensboro Catholic each moved up a spot in the Kentucky AP Prep Poll.
In Class 5A, the Owensboro Red Devils moved into a tie for fourth with Frederick Douglass. Covington Catholic continues its stronghold on the class as Bowling Green (2nd) and South Warren (3rd) round out the top five.
In Class 2A, Owensboro Catholic dismantled Hopkins County Central last week and the votes notices as the Aces were moved up one spot to No. 6. Somerset sits at number one as the top five continues with Lexington Christian, Beechwood, Breathitt County and Mayfield.
