Owensboro Catholic shuts out Grayson County
The Owensboro Catholic Aces hosted Grayson County Saturday afternoon and cruised to the 3-0 victory.
Joe Fusco and Austin Martin each had a goal and an assist for the Aces. OC’s third goal was an own-goal by the Cougars.
Caleb Ranallo had one save in goal for the Aces.
Catholic plays Monday at Butler County when they go for a 4-1 start to the season.

Owensboro downs Warren East, starts season 2-1
After going scoreless in the first half, the Owensboro Lady Devils found their offensive footing as they were able to find the next with ease in the final 40:00.
OHS took down Warren East 4-0 as Rylee Cox delivered again for the Lady Devils with two goals to lead the way. Evie Pierson and Sydney Lovett each added a goal.
Ella Bratcher finished with two assists while Abby Warren and Ella Grace Mays each finished with one.
Chandler Worth had two saves in goal for the Lady Devils.
OHS plays Tuesday at Owensboro Catholic in a 9th District matchup.
Lady Aces fall to Evansville Reitz
The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces continued its tour of Indiana to start the season as they headed to Evansville Reitz for an afternoon matchup on Saturday.
The Lady Aces couldn’t find their offensive rhythm, while on the flip side the Panthers had no problems as they took down OC 10-2.
Catholic plays Tuesday against Owensboro in their first home game of the season.
