Owensboro Catholic cruises by Butler County

The Owensboro Catholic Aces picked up their second-straight shutout Monday when they traveled to Butler County and handled the Bears with ease.

The Aces took down Butler 6-0 behind solid games from a couple of standout players.

Brody Martin led the way with three goals and an assist while Joe Fusco chipped in two goals. Austin Martin was the third Ace to score Monday.

Gage Johnson and Dominic Ranallo each added an assist while Caleb Ranallo picked up the shutout with three saves.

OCHS (3-1) plays at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a 9th District tilt with Owensboro.

Red Devils fall to North Hardin

The Owensboro Red Devils are still searching for their first win of the season as they fell to North Hardin 3-1 Monday.

Saw That had the lone OHS goal while Hser Thaw picked up the assist.

The Red Devils hit the pitch again Wednesday as they host Owensboro Catholic.
