Lady Aces grab first win of the season
After two tough losses to Indiana teams, the Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces hit the pitch Thursday in Hopkinsville and came away with a 9-1 win over Christian County.
Ashton Logsdon led the way with three goals and two assists for the Lady Aces.
Maddie Hayden (2 goals, 1 assist), Jahaira Ward (goal, assist), Annie Helwig (goal), Gracie Johnson (goal, assist), Mallary Bailey (goal), Katie Riney (assist) and Ella Goetz (assist) all contributed to Catholic’s first win of the season.
The Lady Aces host Muhlenberg County Saturday in their first home game of the year.
