E-gals edge Henderson County on the road
The Apollo E-gals extended their winning streak to four when they went on the road and beat Henderson County Friday in a five-set thriller.
The E-gals won the match 3-2 over the Lady Colonels, a perennial power in the 2nd Region.
Havanah John led the way with 16 kills and three blocks while Tallie Satterfield (8 kills, 3 blocks), Brylee Rhodes (6 kills, 3 blocks), Aliyah Carwile (6 kills), Maddie Boswell (27 assists), Anslee Hopewell (16 digs) and Abby Spong (8 digs) all contributed to the victory.
Apollo plays Tuesday at home against Owensboro Catholic in a 9th District matchup.
