Daviess County downs Henderson County at home
The Daviess County Lady Panthers improved to 3-1 on the season as they took down Henderson County Saturday at DCHS.
In all four of DC’s matches this season, the final score has been 3-1 with its latest victory coming after they dropped the second set and and won the final two.
Elizabeth Moore finished with 16 kills and 12 digs to lead DC. Ryann Keller dished out 21 assists while Josie Newcom (11) and Kendal Goetz (19) also had double-digit digs.
The Lady Panthers play Tuesday at Owensboro as the Lady Devils are going for the top seed in the 9th District with a victory.
Lady Aces fall to Purples
The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces couldn’t grab their second win of the season Saturday as they fell to Bowling Green on the road.
The Purples won the match 2-0 (25-16, 25-8).
The Lady Aces hit the court Tuesday as they head to Apollo for a 9th District matchup.
