The Owensboro Times sports honor this week goes to Owensboro football player Jeremiah Goodwin.
Goodwin, a sophomore linebacker for the Red Devils is the Football Player of the Week after receiving the most votes in the weekly poll. Goodwin had seven total tackles (2 TFL, sack) and an interception return for a touchdown in the Red Devils’ win over Grayson County last week.
Next week’s Football Player of the Week polls will open Monday morning and run through Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Note: Winners of the weekly honors will not be eligible for nomination again.
