The Apollo Eagles grabbed a win Thursday as they head into the 9th District Tournament with a victory.
AHS took down Hopkinsville 4-0 for their third shutout of the year.
Harrison Bowman led the way with two goals and an assist while Eh Wah also added a goal. Teranse Twihenya also had a big game with a goal and two assists for the Eagles. Carter Kopczynski added the other assist for AHS.
Apollo hits the pitch Tuesday as it takes on Owensboro Catholic at 7:30 p.m. in the district tournament.
Daviess County 4, Henderson County 0
The Daviess County Panthers ended the regular season on a high note Thursday as they took down Henderson County for their first win since Sept. 26.
DC won the match 4-0 with senior Hunter Clark leading the way.
Clark finished with two goals while Declan Armistead added another. Henderson County also had an own goal. Tanner Andersen dished two assists with Carter Hoagland adding one.
The Panthers play Owensboro Monday at 7:30 p.m. in 9th District Tournament at Apollo.
Franklin-Simpson 4, Owensboro 1
The Owensboro Red Devils couldn’t grab a win in their regular-season finale as they fell to Franklin-Simpson at Shifley Park.
The Wildcats tamed the Red Devils 4-1.
Hser Thaw scored the lone goal for OHS.
Owensboro plays Daviess County in the first round of the 9th District Tournament Monday at Apollo.

The Apollo E-gals dropped their regular-season finale Thursday as they were taken down by Hopkinsville on the road.
The Lady Tigers won the match 4-0 as Apollo was held scoreless for the third straight game.
Apollo takes on Daviess County Monday in the first round of the 9th District Tournament at Shifley Park.
