The Owensboro Times sports honor this week goes to Owensboro football player Javius Taylor.
Taylor, a junior defensive back for the Red Devils, is the Football Player of the Week after receiving the most votes in the weekly poll. Taylor had a pick-six in Owensboro’s 69-6 win over Breckinridge County Friday to help the Red Devils achieve their first undefeated regular season since 1993.
