Former Ace McKay shines in Murray State win over Evansville

Former Owensboro Catholic standout Hannah McKay led Murray State in scoring Tuesday as the Racers took down MVC foe Evansville at the CFSB Center.

McKay finished with a team-high 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-3 FT) and added eight rebounds as Murray State smeared the Purple Aces 81-61.

McKay is averaging 9.5 ppg through two contests this season and is 7-of-11 (63.6%) from the field while going 4-of-7 (57.1%) from the charity stripe.

The Racers hit the road Friday to take on another MVC opponent in the Indiana State Sycamores.
