Apollo 55, South Warren 53
The Apollo Eagles hit the road Monday to take on South Warren as they were able to snap a four-game losing streak since they took down Breckinridge County on Jan. 11.
Apollo had a big lead at the half and held off a strong second half from the Spartans to take the game 55-53.
Cameron Frantz finished with 19 points to lead Apollo as he was one of three Eagles in double digits.
Dan St. Clair (12 points) and Harrison Bowman (11 points) also had solid nights in the victory.
Apollo hosts Ohio County tonight at AHS.

Owensboro 51, Logan County 34
The Owensboro Lady Devils had back-to-back losses heading into Logan County Monday but Jansen Locher and company were able to avoid their first three-game losing streak of the year with a victory over Logan County.
The Lady Devils took down the Cougars 51-34 to put them at 4-4 on the year.
Alyrica Hughes finished with game-high 21 points while adding 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 8 steals. Brooklyn Williams added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
Locher said Kaylyn Sowders had a big night defensively to go with her 8 points.
Owensboro is off until Saturday when it hosts 1st Region foe Calloway County.
