McLean County 45, Daviess County 36
The Daviess County Panthers struggled in the fourth quarter Tuesday against McLean County and fell to the Cougars for their fourth-straight loss.
McLean outscored Daviess 14-3 in the fourth quarter to grab the 45-36 win.
Cole Burch finished with 19 points (8-12, 2-2 3PT) to lead the Panthers as he also added six rebounds and three steals. Joe Humphreys added five points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
The Panthers have their second road game in a row Thursday as they head to Morganfield to take on Union County.
Ohio County 48, Trinity 36
The Trinity Raiders hit the road Tuesday to take on Ohio County but it was the Eagles that left the gym with a victory.
Ohio County took down the Raiders 48-36 despite just one player in the game finishing in double digits.
The Eagles jumped out to a 12-7 lead after the first and had the Raiders down 25-19 at the break before they heated up in the third quarter.
Ohio County’s Parker Culbertson led all scorers with 11 points while Bailey Wright led the Raiders with 9 points. Denver Dickens and Landon Smith each finished with 7 points in the loss for THS.
Trinity wraps up its three-game road trip Friday at Edmonson County before they return to Whitesville Saturday to host Bethlehem.
