Owensboro Catholic 58, Webster County 56
Owensboro Catholic’s Ji Webb hit a bucket a time expired to give the Aces a 58-56 win over Webster County in Dixon on Saturday night.
Webb finished with 12 points but fellow Catholic junior Brian Griffith poured in 31 points to lead all scorers, including 17 in the second half.
Webster County’s Destin Allen led the Trojans with 20 points.
The win snaps back-to-back losses for the Aces as they fell to University Heights Academy and Bosse in the last week as they went three overtimes with the Bulldogs on Wednesday.
Catholic hosts Lyon County Monday and Christian County on Tuesday.
Trinity 63, Bethlehem 44
The Trinity Raiders took down Bethlehem Saturday for their second win in a row as THS has now won three of its last four games.
Trinity cruised in the contest after scoring 23 points in the first quarter to take down Eagles 63-44.
The Raiders had four players in double figures as they were led by Denver Dickens in the victory. Dickens finished with 14 points while Landon Smith (14 points), Nate Hernandez (12 points) and Landon Huff (11 points) also hit double digits.
Trinity is now 4-6 and plays Monday at Butler.

Bishop Brossart 54, Owensboro Catholic 35
The Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces hit the road Saturday after taking down Owensboro Friday to take on Bishop Brossart in the Statewide Mortgage Valentine Shootout at Christian Academy-Louisville.
Bishop Brossart held the Lady Aces to just three points in the opening frame as they cruised to the 54-35 win to put Catholic at 7-3 on the year.
BB’s Marie Kiefer finished with a game-high 30 points, including 14 in the first quarter.
Catherine Head led the Lady Aces with 12 points while fellow senior Ally Maggard added 11.
Catholic plays Monday against 2nd Region power Henderson County.
McLean County 50, Owensboro 46 (2OT)
The Lady Devils of Owensboro lost their second game in as many days as they fell to McLean County on the road Saturday afternoon despite pushing the Lady Cougars to double overtime after Alyrica Hughes buried a 3-pointer in overtime to extend the game.
OHS coach Jansen Locher said his team got a little tired in the second half as they fell 50-46 to McLean.
Hughes finished with 15 points to lead the Lady Devils while Lyric Lawrence also finished in double digits with 11 points.
Owensboro hosts Dawson Springs Monday at OHS.
Trinity 62, Todd County Central 60
The Trinity Lady Raiders snapped a four-game losing streak Saturday afternoon when they headed south to Elkton to take on Todd County Central.
Trinity grabbed the narrow win 62-60 behind dominant performances from Cassidy Morris and Josie Aull as Aull scored her 1,000th-career point in the victory.
The duo combined for seven 3-pointers as Morris finished with a game-high 28 points and Aull added 22, including going 6-of-6 from the charity stripe.
Katherine Hibbitt added eight points and Maddie Logsdon finished with four in the Lady Raider win.
Trinity is now 2-6 on the year as they host Breckinridge County Tuesday in Whitesville.
