Grayson County 62, Daviess County 51
Grayson County jumped out to a big first-quarter leader as Daviess County catch-up in the Tuesday night 3rd Region matchup in Leitchfield.
The Cougars won the game 62-51 to put the Panthers at 3-6 on the year.
Cole Burch continued his strong play as of late as he finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds, including six offensive, in the loss for DC.
Camron Johnson added 12 points and six rebounds for the Panthers.
Daviess County is scheduled to play Union County Thursday in Morganfield.
Muhlenberg County 53, Owensboro 51
In their first game back from their second quarantine of the season, the Owensboro Red Devils hit the road but fell to Muhlenberg County.
The now 9-1 Mustangs made the fourth-quarter comeback against the Red Devils the grab the 53-51 win.
Owensboro led 39-35 heading to the fourth Aster Carver scored eight points off the bench to help the Mustangs get back and eventually win the game.
Cole Vincent led Muhlenberg with 20 points.
Amari Robinson-Wales led the Red Devils with 20 points while Trey Hinton added 13 in the loss.
Owensboro (2-2) plays Friday at home against Warren Central.
Trinity 74, Breckinridge County 54
The Trinity Raiders welcome Breckinridge County in Whitesville and wasted no time is taking down the Fighting Tigers.
Trinity trailed 19-15 after one but roared back in the second and capped off the game with a huge fourth quarter to take down Breck 74-54. It’s the Raiders’ first win over Breck since the 11th District Final in 2004.
The Raiders led 39-31 going into the half and never looked back as they’re now 5-6 on the year.
Landon Huff led Trinity with 21 points as they had all five starters in double figures. Landon Smith (14 points), Denver Dickens (11 points), Nate Hernandez (10 points) and Bailey Wright (10 points) each hit double digits.
The Raiders are currently on a three-game winning streak, their longest of the year, as they take on Grayson County Friday at home.

Owensboro 62, Cloverport 20
The Owensboro Lady Devils snapped a four-game losing streak Tuesday when they took down Cloverport on the road.
Owensboro cruised to the 62-20 win as they’re now 5-8 on the year.
Brooklyn Williams continued her strong play as she finished with 14 points to lead the Lady Devils. Freshman guard Alyrica Hughes added 13 points in the victory.
The Lady Devils play Thursday at home against Dawson Springs.
Breckinridge County 62, Trinity 26
The Trinity Lady Raiders lost their second game in as many days as they fell to Breckinridge County 62-26.
Trinity will try to avoid a three-game winning streak Friday when they host Grayson County.
