This is a story in a series on local high school athletes signing to continue their athletic and academic careers at the next level.

Like a couple of players from his high school team, Daviess County’s Hayden Glover is taking his talents across town as he’ll play for John Fusco and the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers next season.

Glover had four goals and three assists for the Panthers in his final season at DC.

How does it feel to finally know where you’re going to attend next year and to make it official?

It is exciting to be taking a step further both academically and athletically.

Why did you choose the school you did?

It is a great school and stood out to me with the most to offer.

What stood out about the program and the coaches?

I know of others before me who have on went to study and play at Wesleyan and they loved it. I have played under coach (John) Fusco for several years and enjoy the way he coaches. I have always wanted to take my game to the next level and coach (John) Fusco has allowed me with this great opportunity.

What are you going to study?

I’m going to study exercise science.

What are you going to miss about your team and school?

I will miss the comradery within the team, the coaches, and the atmosphere. I’ve had some great experiences with Daviess County that I will never forget.
