Owensboro Catholic, Trinity compete at McCracken County
A pair of Owensboro Catholic and Trinity wrestlers placed Saturday at McCracken County as the wrestling season is now just over a month old.
Catholic’s Andrew Brauer won the 220-pound class while Cameron Devine finished second at 126 pounds. Jack Byrnes (106), Michael Shepard (113-120), Cooper Danzer (132), Nolan Murphy (138) all finished third in their class while Laven Wenmoth (145) and Todd Riter (170) finished fifth in their class.
For the Raiders, Mason Mattingly and Kristopher Howard each picked up two wins while Mattingly finished third at 145 pounds and Howard took sixth at 152 pounds.
