The Daviess County Lady Panthers won the Region 1 Bowling Championship last weekend in Paducah while one Panther finished runner-up on the boy’s side.
DC’s CJ Snyder finished second in the boys’ singles division championship while Apollo’s Tyler Head finished fourth overall.
In the girls’ single division, DC’s Maddie Phelps finished third while DC’s Jasmine Parm also finished in the top 10, but was just short of the semifinals.
In the boy’s team championship, McCracken County took the top spot with Daviess County finishing runner-up.
In the girl’s team championship, Daviess County took the title over South Warren while Apollo finished in the top eight.
In the unified team bracket, Apollo 2 and Apollo 1 finished third and fourth.
