The Daviess County Panthers swept the City/County Swimming Championships Saturday at Owensboro Health HealthPark as DC grabbed a total of 267 points on the day.
The Lady Panthers edged Owensboro Catholic by 12 points as they finished with 127, with the Panthers scoring 140 points to beat Catholic’s 117.
Owensboro’s Addison Callis was named the Female Swimmer of the Year while Catholic’s Cort Hobelmann was named the Male Swimmer of the Year.
The All City/County girls’ swimmers were Callis, Abby Warren (OHS), Kaydeon Mattingly (DC), Mary Kate Hayden (OC), Kara Bane Luckett (OHS), Amelia Hampton (OHS), Reese Wethington (AHS), Avery Krahwinkel (DC) and Nya Hammons (DC).
The All/City boys’ swimmers were Hobelmann, Jack Raymer (OC), Ben Robinson (DC), Jude Pickrell (OHS), Trevor Church (DC), Luke Mallot (AHS), Miller Bowman (OHS), Eli Dych (AHS), Gabe Neves (DC) and Benjamin Johnson (OC).
