Apollo sweeps Owensboro at Centre Court
Apollo tennis went into Centre Court and took down Owensboro 7-2 on the boys’ side and 6-3 in the girls’ matches on Saturday.
On the girls’ side, Whitley Ford, Avery Elliot and Riley Hunt grabbed singles wins for the E-gals while Natalia Estes and Caroline Ashby won matches for the Lady Devils. In doubles, Apollo’s Ford/Emma Embry won their match while Owensboro’s Anny Hyland and Marissa Shook won the No. 2 doubles match.
For the boys, Stetson Osborne grabbed the lone Red Devil singles win while Walker Gaddis and Sam Busse won for the Eagles. In doubles, Austin/Osborne grabbed the win.
