Apollo splits with Daviess County
Apollo and Daviess County battled each other and the rain on Tuesday afternoon but several matches were able to be completed with the E-gals grabbing a victory on the girls’ side and the Panthers winning on the boys’ side.
The E-gals took down the Lady Panthers 4-1 with Caitlyn Blandford, Natalie Estes and Katie Rice grabbing singles victories. Allessa Hall grabbed the lone DC singles victory.
In girls’ doubles, Marrisa Shook/Maddie Wahl earned the win for the E-gals.
On the boys’ side, Daviess County cruised to the 6-0 lead with rain erasing the chance of any doubles matches to be played.
George Hulse, Graham Sandefur, Camden Clark, Andy Peebles, Frank Newton and Eric Holder all had wins for the Panthers.
