The Owensboro Catholic Aces dropped their first two games of the 2021 season where they traveled to Mount Juliet (Tenn.) for a pair of afternoon contests.
Catholic fell 12-7 and 10-0 to Mount Juliet as they’re now 4-2 on the year.
In the 12-7 loss, Sam McFarland led the Aces at the plate as the junior went 2-3 and scored twice. Luke Evans also scored twice as Finley Munsey finished with two RBIs.
In the 10-0 loss, errors plagued Catholic as the Aces finished with five in the game.
Scales and J Crabtree had the only hits for OC.
The Aces hit the field Monday to start their All “A” Classic tour as they take on Edmonson County at Trinity in the 3rd Region All “A” Classic Tournament.
