Ohio County 11, Daviess County 8
The Daviess County Panthers were handed their second loss in as many days Saturday when they fell to Ohio COunty 11-8.
Both team got the bats going early and often as Daviess led 7-5 after three innings but the Eagles scored five in the fifth to give them the lead.
Hunter Payne and Decker Renfrow each finished with two hits while Layton Huskisson finished with a triple and three RBIs.
Hunter Payne and Owen Payne each added RBIs in the loss while Mason Boswell and Brock Brubaker each scored twice.
The Panthers (3-2) play Monday at South Spencer to start their six-game road trip where they don’t return to DC until April 17 against Webster County.
