Kentucky Wesleyan pitcher Devin Smith posted an impressive performance against Cedarville in  earning Great Midwest Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors on Tuesday.

Against Cedarville, the reigning 2019 Great Midwest Pitcher of the Year was in no-hit form while tossing seven no-hit frames in his most recent start through the league leading rotation.

The righty struck out nine while scattering just three hits in his third winning decision of the spring.

He walked just one and was backed with ample run support by the offense with five runs, including RBI’s from previous conference players of the week Ben Wilcoxson and Cody Bridges.

Smith has 57 strikeouts in 44 innings pitched with a 3.07 ERA (third in the league) to go with a 3-1 record in six starts.
