South Spencer 8, Apollo 5
South Spencer scored five runs in the bottom of the first and added three more in the third to take down Apollo 8-5 on Monday.
K’Asia Palmer had a home run and two RBIs for the E-gals while Morgan Julian also finished with multiple RBIs.
Olivia Crawford scored twice in the loss for Apollo.
The E-gals return to AHS today when they take on Grayson County.
Butler County 9, Owensboro 1
Kaylyn Sowders had a solo home run as it was the Lady Devils only run in Monday’s 9-1 loss to Butler County.
Ellington Embry had the only other hit for Owensboro in the loss to the Lady Bears.
The Lady Devils continue their road trip today when they head to Union County.
Hancock County 3, Trinity 2
The Trinity Lady Raiders scored two runs in the top of the sixth but it wasn’t enough to take down Hancock County as they fell 3-2 to the Lady Hornets.
Madison McDaniel led Trinity as she went 2-4. Raylee Higdon finished with a double and two RBIs for the Lady Raiders.
Trinity returns home today to take on Warren Central.
