Apollo 13, Grayson County 3 (5 innings)

The Apollo E-gals snapped a four-game losing streak Tuesday when they took down Grayson County 13-3 in five innings.

Apollo scored nine runs in the first and other than a small hiccup in the top of the third, cruised to the victory.

Morgan Frizzell (3-3, 3 RBIs, 4 R, 2 2B), Olivia Palmer (3-3, RBI, 2 R) and K’Asia Palmer (3-4, 3 RBIs, R, 2B) did damage from the top of the lineup while Arianna Ramirez (2-3, 2 RBIs, R), Morgan Julian (1-1, 2 RBIs) and Delainee Hayden (1-3, 2 R) also had solid days at the plate.

Emmie Bullington got the win for the E-gals as she struck out four and didn’t allow an earned run.

Apollo plays Thursday on the road against Jasper (Ind.).

Daviess County 4, Greenwood 2 (8 innings)

The Daviess County Lady Panthers scored in the first and last innings of their matchup with Greenwood Tuesday as it was enough to take down the Lady Gators 4-2 in eight innings.

Katie Mewes had a two-RBI double in the top of the eighth for the go ahead runs as it was her second hit in as many weeks that turned into the game winner.

Abby Newman and Jessie Daniels each had home runs in the first inning to put the Lady Panthers on the board.

Greysee Whiteker started the game by Raylee Roby was perfect for the final 4.2 innings. Roby struck out six and didn’t allow a baserunner to get the win.

Daviess County plays at home Thursday against Owensboro.

Union County 12, Owensboro 3

The Owensboro Lady Devils couldn’t keep up with Union County Tuesday as they fell to the Bravettes on the road.

Union County cruised to the 12-3 win to hand Owensboro seventh-straight loss.

Owensboro hosts Daviess County on Thursday.

Trinity 15, Warren Central 0 (4 innings)

The Trinity Lady Raiders beat Warren Central 15-0 Tuesday for their third-most runs in a game this season.

Allie Barnett had a no-hitter with nine strikeouts on just 52 pitches in four innings.

Macie Aguilar (2-3, 2 R), Raylee Higdson (3-4, 3 RBIs, 4 R), Cassidy Morris (2-3, 3 RBIs, 2 R), Barnett (3-3, 3 RBIs), Allie Graham (2-3, 2 R), Georgia Howard (1-4, 2 RBIs) and Lexy Edge (1-3, RBI, 2 R) had solid days at the plate.

Trinity plays the first game of a six-game road trip Thursday when they head to Muhlenberg County.
