Union County 15, Trinity 8
After a big top of the first, the Trinity Lady Raiders weren’t able to keep the Union County Bravettes at bay as UC grabbed a 15-8 win Tuesday afternoon in Morganfield.
Union County scored five in the bottom of the first and six in the bottom of the fourth to put the game out of reach for the Lady Raiders.
Trinity’s Madison McDaniel had three hits and scored twice from the leadoff spot as she helped the Lady Raiders from the top of the lineup.
Cassidy Morris (2-4, RBI, 2 R), Katherine Hibbitt (2-4, RBI), Georgia Howard (1-4, 3 RBIs) and Maddie Logsdon (2-4, R) all had big days at the plate while Macie Aguilar added a run and Allie Graham added an RBI.
Trinity falls to 0-4 as they take on Owensboro Catholic on Thursday at Edmonson County in the 3rd Region All “A” Classic Tournament.
