Apollo took down Owensboro Tuesday in boy’s and girls’ tennis action at Centre Court.
On the boys’ side, Apollo won 6-3 with singles victories from Ben Austin, Jamison Franey, Jake Patton and Preet Patel. Stetson Osborne and Luke Austin grabbed the two singles wins for OHS.
In doubles, Osborne/Austin had the lone win for the Red Devils while Nick Shannon/Evan Wilson and Franey/Noah Crider earned wins for the Eagles.
On the girls’ side, Apollo grabbed four singles wins with Mia Lampert, Natalie Estes, Maddie Wahl and Katie Rice earning victories. Whitley Ford and Caroline Smith had the singles wins for the Lady Devils.
In doubles, Owensboro had wins from Smith/Alex Salamah and Izzy Tipmore/Annie Iracane while Lauren Clement/Caitlyn Blandford had the lone doubles win for the E-gals.

GIRLS: Owensboro Catholic 9, Muhlenberg County 0
Owensboro Catholic grabbed two wins Tuesday as they took down Muhlenberg County 7-2 on the boy’s side and 9-0 on the girls’ side.
The boy’s singles winners for the Aces were Davis Brocato, Brett Conder, Matthew Hyland and Clayton Lewis while Conder/Brocato, Cooper Danzer/Hyland and Sam Fulkerson/Nolan Murphy each had doubles victories.
On the girls’ side, Ella Cason, Isabella Reisz, Ella Grace Buckner, Elizabeth Hayden, Julia Marshall and Sarah Hayden all had singles wins.
In doubles, Emmy Moore/Sarah Kate Young, Aisha Merchant/Olivia Hayden and Katelyn Mitchell/Claire Augenstein all grabbed victories.
