This week’s Owensboro Times baseball and softball honors go to Apollo’s Dan St. Clair and K’Asia Palmer after each received the most votes in their respective weekly poll.
St. Clair, a senior for the Eagles, is the Baseball Player of the Week after he hit .666 (6-9) with a triple, two doubles, five RBIs and two runs for the Eagles in three games.
Palmer, a sophomore for the E-gals, is the Softball Player of the Week after she hit .315 (6-19) with four home runs, a triple, 10 RBIs and six runs for the E-gals in five games. Palmer also threw 11 innings and earned a save in the circle.
