Augenstein finishes T20 at Charles Schwab Challenge

Former Owensboro Catholic standout finished his strong week with a top 20 finish when his ended his tournament at -4 to put him in a tie for 20th with 12 other golfers.

Jason Kokrak won the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, when his shot a 70 on the final day to finished at -14, two ahead of Saturday’s leader Jordan Spieth.

Augenstein birdied his first two holes of the day and despite tow bogeys, added another birdie to finish his front nine at -1. Augenstein parred eight holes in a row before bogeying No. 16 and finishing even on the day.

Other players to finish at -4 included Tony Finau, Sergio Garica and Corey Conners.
