Augenstein makes the cut at Charles Schwab, currently tied for 22nd

Former Owensboro Catholic standout John Augenstein followed up his solid first round at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, with an even better second round as he’s tied for 22nd heading into the week.

Augenstein carded a -2 (68) to improve his score to -3 as he also makes his first cut as a professional.

Jordan Spieth leads the field after he fired a -4 (66). Spieth is -11 for the tournament and has a two-shot lead.

Augenstein birdied his first hole then followed it up with a bogey to start his round. He found birdies on the 6th and 7th holes before he parred 10-straight holes to finish his round.
