Muhlenberg County 6, Owensboro 2
The Owensboro Red Devils couldn’t keep the Muhlenberg County Mustangs off of the bases Monday as they fell 6-2 at Shifley Park.
Muhlenberg County went up 3-0 before the Red Devils added their two runs in the bottom of the third.
Ethan Gibson led OHS on Senior Night as he went 1-2 with a double and both of the Red Devil RBIs. Cayden Ray went 2-2 with a run while Evan Hampton had the lone Owensboro run.
Owensboro plays at home Thursday against McLean County.
