Daviess County 10, Union County 4

The Panthers used consistent scoring to win their fourth game in a row, downing Union County 10-4.

Decker Renfrow had a team-high three hits and four runs. Cason Troutman and Zach Head drove in three runs each, and Mason Boswell crosse the plate three times. Austin Curtis went 5.1 innings in the win for DC.

Daviess County built a four-run lead but gave up four unearned runs in the bottom of the second inning. DC scored in each of the last four innings to get the win.

Daviess hosts Butler County today.

Bowling Green 22, Owensboro 6

Bowling Green scored eight runs in each of the final two frames to pull away from Owensboro for a 22-6 win in five innings.

Down 6-1 heading into the bottom of the third inning, the Red Devils pushed five across the plate to tie the game. However, they weren’t able to score again after BG went back in front.

Owensboro plays today at Breckinridge County.
