Butler County scored five runs in the seventh inning to come back for an 8-6 win over Daviess County.
The Bears used a two-out RBI single followed by a two-RBI double to go in front in the top of the final frame, and the Panthers couldn’t get a runner on in the bottom half.
All seven hits for DC came from different players. Decker Renfrow scored twice and had a double. Hunter Payne went six innings and struck out seven, giving up five runs (four earned) with a pair of walks.

Owensboro Catholic 3, Oldham County 0
St. Xavier 9, Owensboro Catholic 2
Owensboro Catholic outhit St. Xavier but couldn’t push enough runs across in a 9-2 loss. However, they still picked up a win on the day by downing Oldham County 3-0.
St. Xavier did most of their damage in the third through fifth frames. Despite only recording five hits, they drew six walks to get runners on base. The Aces had nine hits but also struck out nine times. Sam McFarland, Braden Mundy and John Frey each had two hits.
McFarland had the only multi-hit game against Oldham County and also drove in a run. Hayden Ward went the distance on the mound and struck out nine while giving up just three hits and no walks.

Louisville Trinity 13, Apollo 1
Apollo fell 13-1 on the road at Louisville Trinity. Stats were not available at the time of publication.

The Raiders suffered a pair of losses to Trigg County at home.
In a 9-0 loss, Hayden Aull had the only hit for Trinity. Landon Huff took the loss in five innings of work, striking out four and giving up three runs (one earned) on five hits.
In a 17-7 loss, the Raiders rallied for six runs in the fourth inning to go up 7-5. Trigg County responded with five runs in the fifth and seven in the sixth to put the game away. Connor Hatfield and Gavin Howard recorded the only hits for the Raiders. Huff scored twice.
Trinity has no games remaining on the schedule.
