Brescia University Women’s Soccer Head Coach Shaun Soderling has been tabbed to coach in the Southeast All-American Game in June at Daytona Beach, Florida.

Southeast All-American Sports founder Tyler Pineda explained how the game got started.

“We started Southeast All-American Sports as a way to bridge the gap between high school and club players, in hopes to get players recruited to play at the next level,” he said. “Last year was our first event and even though COVID was really fresh, it was extremely successful at helping kids get recruited. Since our 2020 showcase, we’ve had over 60 players sign to play at the next level. Now that we’ve learned more about COVID and restrictions are starting to loosen up, we are so excited to see the 2021 showcase be even more successful.

“We have lots of talented players, as well as phenomenal coaches coming out. We’re really looking forward to it.”

Soderling is looking forward to the opportunity to coach in the game with some of the best high school and club players in the country.

“Being selected as a coach for the Southeast All-American game is obviously a tremendous honor but I also think the nomination also continues to show the growth of Brescia University Women’s Soccer program is being recognized around the country”, Soderling said.

Pineda mentions there’s lots of excitement about Brescia University being represented at the game.

“We are so excited to have Coach Soderling joining us as the head women’s coach of Team Stripes,” he said. “His passion and energy for the game and players will make the Southeast All-American experience even better.”
