Apollo 13, Hancock County 0

The Apollo E-gals went on the road Monday and started their week with a win as they cruised by Hancock County 13-0.

Apollo led 1-0 heading to the top of the fifth before scoring five in the frame and then scoring seven in the seventh to put the game away.

Emmie Bullington got the win in the circle with her three strikeouts in six innings of work.

Seven E-gals finished with multiple hits in the game with Bullington (3-5, 2B, 2 RBIs) and Abbie Gore (3-5, 2 2B, RBI, 2 R) each had three hits in the win.

Morgan Frizzell (2-5, RBI, 2 R), K’Asia Palmer (2-4, 2B, 2 R), Morgan Julian (2-5, HR, 2 RBI, R), Macy Calhoun (2-3, 2 2B, 2 RBIs) and Mallory Velotta (2-4, 2B, 2 RBIs, 2 R) all had big days at the plate while Olivia Crawford had an RBI and scored twice.

Apollo plays at home today against Muhlenberg County.

Owensboro 5, Evansville Bosse (Ind.) 4

The Owensboro Lady Devils took down Evansville Bosse Monday for their second victory in three games.

Owensboro needed extra innings but it was able to head back with a 5-4 win in eight winnings.

Brooklyn Keller picked up the win in the circle as she struck out seven and allowed three earned runs in the game.

Addison Hill (2-3, RBI), Kaylym Sowders (1-3, RBI, R) Sophie Moorman (1-3, RBI, R), Paige Hughes (1-2, 2 RBI), Emmi Connor (1-4, R) and Ellington Embry all had solid games for the Lady Devils.

Owensboro plays today at home against Butler County.

Owensboro Catholic 11, South Spencer 1 (Ind.) (5 innings)

Owensboro Catholic jumped out to a 5-1 lead after one against South Spencer Monday and cruised to the 11-1 win in five innings.

Hadley Phelps was in the circle for the win and allowed her defense to do their job in the victory.

Brooke Hamilton (2-3, HR, 3 RBIs, 3 R), Bailey Hamilton (3-3, HR, RBI, 2 R), Lillie Grant (1-1, RBI, 2 R) and Addison Tignor (1-2, HR, 4 RBIs, R) all had big days at the plate in the win.

The Lady Aces only struck out twice in the win.

Catholic plays today at Booneville (Ind.).

Ohio County 6, Trinity 5

Trinity led Ohio County 5-4 heading into the bottom of the seventh Monday but the Lady Eagles scored two in the final frame for the walkoff 6-5 win over the Lady Raiders.

Trinity led 4-1 heading to the bottom of the sixth before Ohio County scored three in the bottom of the frame to tie the game heading to the seventh.

Macie Aguilar (2-4, 2B, RBI, 2 R), Madison McDaniel (3-4, 2B, RBI) and Allie Barnett (2-4, 2 2B) had multiple hits for Trinity while Georgia Howard added a double and two RBIs.

Trinity plays Wednesday at Warren Central.
