Apollo started hot and never let up in a 13-0 win over McLean County in five innings.
K’Asia Palmer’s two-run homer was part of an eight-run first inning for the E-Gals. Palmer also went three innings in the circle for the win. Macy Calhoun had a team-high three RBIs, while Morgan Frizzell and Morgan Julian scored twice each.
Apollo plays at Breckinridge County on Monday.

The Lady Panthers rolled past Franklin County for an 8-0 win, but they didn’t quite have enough in a 2-1 loss to Assumption in a game that only featured five total hits.
Against FC, Millie Roberts had a homer run and led with three hits, three RBIs and two runs. Abby and Hattie Newman each added a pair of hits, while Abby Newman and Jessie Daniels drove in two each.
Raylee Roby pitched a complete game, giving up a single hit and one walk while striking out nine.
Against Assumption, DC’s only hits came from Roberts and Greysee Whiteker, while Jessie Daniels scored the lone run. Whiteker pitched seven innings, giving up just three hits and one walk with three strikeouts.
DC hosts Greenwood on Monday.

Owensboro 19, Fort Campbell 1
Owensboro dominated both games of a doubleheader against Fort Cambell. They won 16-1 in game one, followed by a 19-1 victory in game two.
In game one, Lindsey Gibson had three hits including a homer to drive in seven runs. Paige Hughes and Brooklyn Keller added two hits and two RBIs each. Kirsten Tindle drove in two, and Addison Hill scored twice. Keller gave up no hits and one unearned run and struck out three.
In game two, Hughes added another pair of hits to go along with four RBIs and three runs. Halle Warder scored three times and Ellington Embry crossed the plate twice. Tindle picked up the win in the circle.
Owensboro hosts McLean County on Tuesday.

Jasper (Ind.) 4, Owensboro Catholic 2
The Lady Aces cruised by Breckinridge County 5-0, but they fell 4-2 in an fight with Jasper in a game that saw 21 combined hits.
Against Breckinridge County, Catholic jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first inning and added a couple more runs late. Hadley Phelps had the only multi-hit game with a pair of singles, also driving in a run. Brooke Hamilton pitched all seven innings and gave up just two hits with six strikeouts.
Against Jasper, the Lady Aces strung together hits but could push enough runners across the plate. Camille Conkright and Lilli Grant both had two hits. Phelps went four innings in the loss, giving up two runs on nine hits.
Catholic hosts South Warren on Tuesday.
